These Booking Conditions, together with our booking confirmation, itinerary, invoice and any additional information we provide before your booking is confirmed, form the basis of the contract between you and Kudo Lifestyle Ltd, trading as "Kudo Lifestyle", "we", "us" or "our".

Please read these Booking Conditions carefully before making a booking. They explain your rights and responsibilities and set out the terms on which we provide our travel services.

By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Booking Conditions. If you are making a booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Booking Conditions on behalf of everyone included in the booking.

Nothing in these Booking Conditions affects your statutory rights under the laws of England and Wales.

Booking means any reservation confirmed by us for travel services supplied by Kudo Lifestyle Ltd.

Lead Passenger means the person making the booking who accepts these Booking Conditions on behalf of all travellers included in the booking.

Traveller, Customer, you or your means every person travelling under the booking.

Supplier means any airline, hotel, cruise operator, transfer provider, tour operator, destination management company or any other organisation providing travel services forming part of your itinerary.

Holiday means the travel arrangements confirmed by us, whether consisting of a package holiday, tailor-made itinerary, accommodation, transport or other travel services.

Making a Booking

Bookings may be made online, by telephone, by email or through any other method approved by us.

The Lead Passenger must be at least 18 years of age and confirms that they have the authority to make the booking on behalf of every person named within it.

A booking request does not constitute acceptance by Kudo Lifestyle Ltd.

Your booking becomes legally binding only when:

  • we have confirmed availability;

  • we have received the required payment or deposit;

  • we have issued our written Booking Confirmation.

Until these steps have been completed we reserve the right to decline or withdraw any quotation without liability.

It is your responsibility to check all booking documentation immediately upon receipt.

Any errors relating to passenger names, travel dates, destinations or other details must be reported to us without delay.

Failure to notify us promptly may result in additional charges imposed by airlines or other suppliers.

Prices

All prices quoted by Kudo Lifestyle Ltd are subject to availability and supplier confirmation until your booking has been confirmed.

Prices are based upon:

  • supplier rates;

  • exchange rates;

  • taxes;

  • airport charges;

  • government levies;

  • fuel costs;

  • currency fluctuations,

that apply at the time your quotation is prepared.

Although we take every reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate, genuine pricing errors occasionally occur.

Should a pricing error be identified before your booking is confirmed, we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the quotation.

Where a pricing error is discovered after confirmation, we will contact you immediately and explain the options available to you, including accepting the corrected price or cancelling your booking with a full refund where required by applicable law.

Deposits and Payments

The payment required to secure your booking will depend upon the travel arrangements selected.

Many holidays require only a standard deposit.

However, certain bookings, including scheduled flights, luxury accommodation, cruises, tailor-made itineraries, special event tickets and supplier promotional fares may require:

  • a higher deposit;

  • full payment for particular travel components; or

  • full payment at the time of booking.

The payment schedule applicable to your booking will always be confirmed before your booking is accepted.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid no later than the date stated on your booking confirmation.

Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.

Where this occurs, cancellation charges may apply.

We accept payment using the payment methods displayed on our website or advised during the booking process.

Flexible and Non-Refundable Bookings

Travel suppliers operate different fare rules and booking conditions.

Some holidays are booked using flexible fares allowing amendments or cancellations.

Others are booked using discounted or promotional fares that are wholly or partly non-refundable once confirmed.

Before confirming your booking we will explain the applicable payment and cancellation conditions.

Where a booking includes non-refundable travel arrangements, any amounts paid to suppliers which cannot be recovered by us will remain payable regardless of the reason for cancellation unless otherwise required by law.

Where more flexible booking options are available, we will advise you of these together with any additional cost before your booking is confirmed.

Changes Requested by You

If, after your booking has been confirmed, you wish to amend any part of your travel arrangements, please contact us as soon as possible. Whilst we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee that amendments will be possible.

All amendments are subject to availability and acceptance by the relevant travel suppliers.

Depending on the nature of the amendment, additional charges may apply. These may include airline fees, hotel charges, supplier amendment costs, administration fees and any increase in the overall cost of your holiday.

Certain travel arrangements, including airline tickets issued on restricted or promotional fares, cannot be amended once confirmed. Where this applies, the original travel arrangements may need to be cancelled and rebooked, resulting in cancellation charges and the cost of new arrangements.

Any amendment requested within a short period before departure may not be possible.

Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, the Lead Passenger must notify Kudo Lifestyle Ltd in writing by email or letter. A cancellation will take effect on the date we receive your written notice.

As soon as your booking is confirmed, we begin making commitments with airlines, hotels, ground handlers and other suppliers. For this reason, cancellation charges will usually apply.

The amount payable will depend upon:

  • the supplier's cancellation terms;

  • whether your booking includes non-refundable travel services;

  • the date cancellation is received;

  • any costs already incurred on your behalf.

Where flights, accommodation or other travel services have been purchased on non-refundable or non-changeable terms, those amounts will remain payable irrespective of the reason for cancellation unless otherwise required by law.

Any refund due will be calculated after deduction of all unrecoverable costs, supplier charges and any applicable administration fees.

We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance which includes cancellation cover from the date the booking is confirmed.

Changes or Cancellation by Kudo Lifestyle Ltd

We carefully plan every holiday and endeavour to avoid changes wherever possible. However, circumstances occasionally arise where changes become necessary.

Where a minor change is required, we reserve the right to make such changes without liability. Minor changes may include alterations to flight schedules, accommodation, room type, transport arrangements or similar services where the overall holiday remains substantially the same.

If a significant change becomes necessary before departure, we will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable.

Where appropriate, you may be offered one or more of the following options:

  • accepting the revised arrangements;

  • accepting an alternative holiday of comparable standard where available;

  • receiving a refund where required under applicable law.

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel your booking before departure.

Where cancellation is necessary due to reasons within our control and no suitable alternative can be offered, you will receive a refund of monies paid for the affected arrangements.

Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights.

Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances

We shall not be liable for failure to perform, or delay in performing, our contractual obligations where such failure or delay results from unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • war or threat of war;

  • terrorism;

  • civil unrest;

  • industrial action;

  • epidemic or pandemic;

  • severe weather;

  • natural disasters;

  • flooding;

  • volcanic activity;

  • government restrictions;

  • airport closures;

  • air traffic control decisions;

  • unavoidable technical failures affecting transport providers;

  • any similar event outside our reasonable control.

Where such circumstances affect your holiday, we will provide reasonable assistance and work with our suppliers to minimise disruption wherever possible.

Flights and Airline Services

Airlines operate under their own Conditions of Carriage.

Flight schedules, aircraft type, routing and operating carrier may change after booking.

These matters are outside our direct control.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, airline tickets issued are generally subject to the fare conditions selected at the time of booking.

Many promotional fares are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-changeable.

Where flexible fares are available, we will advise you before booking together with any additional cost.

Seat selection, meals, extra baggage and other optional airline services are not included unless specifically confirmed in writing.

If your flight is delayed, cancelled or boarding is denied, your rights will generally arise directly against the operating airline under applicable passenger rights legislation.

We will provide reasonable assistance where possible but cannot accept responsibility for decisions made by the airline.

Accommodation

Accommodation descriptions are based upon information supplied by hotels and accommodation providers.

Images displayed on our website are intended as a guide only.

Room layouts, furnishings, views and facilities may vary.

Official accommodation classifications differ between countries and may not be directly comparable with UK standards.

Special requests, including room location, adjoining rooms, bedding configuration or accessibility requirements, will be passed to the supplier but cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed by us in writing.

Excursions and Third-Party Services

Unless specifically stated as forming part of your booking, excursions, activities and experiences purchased during your holiday are supplied by independent providers.

These arrangements do not form part of your contract with Kudo Lifestyle Ltd.

Whilst we may recommend local operators, we cannot accept responsibility for services provided independently by third parties.

Customers participate in excursions and activities at their own risk and should ensure appropriate insurance cover is in place.

Travel Insurance

It is a condition of booking that every traveller has adequate travel insurance in place from the date the booking is confirmed until the completion of the holiday.

Your insurance should provide suitable cover for cancellation, emergency medical treatment, repatriation, personal belongings, travel disruption and any activities you intend to undertake.

It remains your responsibility to ensure that your policy provides sufficient protection for your individual circumstances.

Failure to obtain suitable insurance may limit your ability to recover financial losses arising from cancellation, illness, accidents or travel disruption.
